Mediawave Store
Mediawave Store presents itself as a multi-category online store (electronics, home, DIY and garden) active since 2006, with a broad catalog of low-cost products.
May contain affiliate linksThe catalog and checkout look like a conventional online store, but the verifiable digital reputation — both on Trustpilot and in public consumer complaints — shows serious warning signs any buyer should know about before paying.

This audit of Mediawave Store departs from our usual approach because the main problem detected isn’t one of design or usability, but of trust. We explain it with maximum transparency because we believe a reader should know these signals before deciding whether to buy.
The browsing experience, no surprises
On the surface, Mediawave Store behaves like any multi-category online store: navigation by section (electronics, home, DIY, garden), product pages with image, description and price, and a conventional-looking checkout. If the analysis stopped at this layer, there wouldn’t be much to object to.
What independent platforms say
When searching for verifiable third-party reputation, we found two signals we consider important to communicate:
- Trustpilot: the sister brand mediawavestore.com (the version operating in other markets) has a TrustScore of 2.6 out of 5 across 584 reviews, a rating the platform itself labels “Bad.” At the time of this audit we haven’t located a specific Trustpilot profile with sufficient volume for the Spanish domain mediawavestore.es, which limits the ability to independently cross-check the recent experience in Spain.
- OCU (Organización de Consumidores y Usuarios): there are public complaints registered against mediawavestore describing, in one case, a refusal to process a refund despite the published 30-day return policy, and in another, a complaint labeling the site a possible “fake website” with shipment tracking that doesn’t match actual deliveries and no response via email or contact form.
A recent complaint confirms the same pattern in 2026
Reviewing this audit again, we located a public OCU complaint dated January 23, 2026 — therefore within the same year as this audit, not an isolated old case — that describes the same pattern in detail: the buyer receives a normal-looking order confirmation email and tracking number, but the product never actually ships. The complaint adds a relevant operational detail: the store publishes a contact phone number with an automated system that, even within the business hours the website itself advertises, doesn’t connect to any available agent and repeatedly redirects callers to call back later. We’ve also found more mixed reviews on other platforms (GoWork), where affordable purchases with fast shipping coexist with complaints about defective products and long waits for replacements, suggesting that not every order ends in a serious incident — but the pattern of more serious complaints — orders that never arrive, with no real way to make contact — remains active as of this audit.
What this means for a buyer
We can’t say with certainty that every order will have an issue — there are also occasional, more neutral mentions of the site’s catalog — but the documented complaint pattern is consistent enough to justify real caution: pay with a method that offers buyer protection (credit card or PayPal, never a direct bank transfer), start with a low-value order before trusting larger amounts, and keep all communication in writing in case you need to file a complaint later.
Affiliate disclosure
Product Auditors participates in Mediawave Store’s affiliate program through the Awin network. If you buy through the links on this page, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This commercial relationship has not influenced the editorial assessment: the reputation signals described come from independent sources (Trustpilot, OCU) and are communicated with the same honesty we apply across all Product Auditors audits.
Methodology for this audit
This analysis is based on Mediawave Store’s official website’s public documentation, on the Trustpilot profile of its sister domain mediawavestore.com, and on public complaints registered with OCU, checked in September 2026. It does not replace a first-hand purchase, and we recommend any reader verify the most recent state of reviews before deciding. You can read more in our editorial methodology.
- No one, without first independently verifying the current state of shipping and customer service given the documented complaint history
- High-value purchases or products that can't tolerate delivery delays
- Anyone who won't pay with a method offering buyer protection (credit card or PayPal) in case of issues
Navigation by broad categories (electronics, home, DIY, garden) with basic internal search.
Pages with description, images and price, in a format similar to other low-cost multi-category online stores.
Standard payment process with common payment methods.
Limitation: We recommend using methods with buyer protection given the documented complaint history.
No native iOS or Android app detected.
Contact channel via web form according to the store itself.
Limitation: Multiple public complaints describe a lack of response through this channel.
Order tracking via a carrier link.
Limitation: Complaints documented with OCU point to cases where tracking information doesn't match the actual delivery.
The store publishes an automated phone contact number.
Limitation: A complaint from January 2026 describes that, even within the advertised business hours, no agents are available and callers are repeatedly redirected to call back later.
The purchase process generates a standard ecommerce confirmation email.
Limitation: OCU's January 2026 complaint describes confirmations and tracking numbers generated automatically for orders that never actually ship.
Generally low prices within its categories (electronics, home, DIY), a short-term attraction that should be weighed against the reputation signals described in this audit.
